Standard Smoke Tunnel – Lab Version
Equipment Function:
Standard smoke box is used to test the sensitivity, directionality, repeatability, high and low temperature, dazzling and other characteristics of smoke alarm. The equipment meets the requirements of GB 20517, GB4715, EN 14604, EN 54-7 and ISO standards. Standard test tunnel is composed of smoke tunnel, photoelectric smoke density meter, heater, chiller, dazzling device, computer, etc., and has high quality optical obscuration meter used to measure the smoke concentration value in the smoke tunnel. The equipment can be equipped with heater and refrigerator, which can automatically control the temperature in the box to drop to 0°+/-2°C at a rate of less than 1°C/min, or rise to 55+/-2°C range, and test the alarm sensitivity value in high and low temperature state.
Heat alarm test function are able to perform 0.2 to 30°C per minutes temperature rise test up to 160°C as required by EN 54-5, GB4716 or BS 5446-2
Wind speed, smoke rate and temperature are settable in software to meet standard test requirements. The specially developed Zomtest Smoke Test Tunnel software continuously monitors the Smoke concentration, Smoke rising speed, and temperature rate, and records the alarm sensitivity.
